Dr. Justin Mims joined the staff of Duke Animal Clinic in July of 2006 after completing an equine internship at Coosa Valley Equine Center from May 2005 to July 2006. Dr. Mims early involvement with horses inspired him to pursue a career as an equine veterinarian. Dr. Mims attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. There he focused on Equine Medicine, Surgery, and Reproduction by taking multiple advanced electives in these areas. Dr. Mims received his DVM from Auburn in 2005. Both natives of Montgomery; Dr. Mims and his wife Bethany have two children-Ella and Ethan.
